Best of video reel: 2015-2016

Have a peak at some of my favourite moments on The Weather Network this past year before my current maternity leave. Can’t wait to re-join the team later on this year.

Watch here!

TBT!!

I’m enjoying maternity leave right now with our second child. I’ll be back on TWN in the summer/fall of 2017 and I can’t wait to start talking weather again with you all. Meantime, I thought I’d take a little trip down memory lane — I just looked through all these old work pictures. From footie-fan days covering the 2010 World Cup, nationally for CBC, to reporting days all over the province of Ontario for CBC Windsor and briefly for CTV in Sudbury and some great print and commercial gigs too! Here are some snapshots!

Winter weather warrior

Well actually, it’s been a mild winter for much of Southern Ontario. However, it’s been a blast doing a bit of storm chasing and winter weather reporting on the road for the Weather Network when we have had some active weather. Normally you can find me in studio anchoring the weekend afternoon show from 12-2pm ET. Till then, bundle-up and stay-warm. And a huge thank you to Columbia Sportswear for outfitting all of our team at TWN to stay fashionable and prepared for elements!!

As an update: I’m loving being a part of the wonderful team at TWN. You can catch me most weekends afternoons on the Weather Network. I’m soaking up a ton of weather info… and becoming a bit of a weather geek in the process! Hope you enjoy watching along! XO -S

Ch-ch-ch Changes…

Sorry for the delay in announcing this news here! It’s been a busy few weeks. I’ve decided after a lovely maternity leave that I won’t be heading back to my reporting position with the great team at Citytv. Time for some personal and professional changes, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the on-air roster at The Weather Network! A huge thanks to all of my colleagues and viewers who made Citytv such an incredible place to work. I’m excited to take on new challenges as a National Anchor with TWN. Hope you will continue to follow along! Thanks for being a part of all the fun these past 4 years with City, Toronto!
